Truck-Lite becomes standard on LT Series

Updated Aug 7, 2017

Truck-Lite has achieved standard position on the International LT Series.

New for the 2018 model year, the LT Series will feature three Truck-Lite components as standard equipment: the main mirror, located on the doors of the truck; the fender mirror, located on the hood of the truck; and halogen headlights. Truck-Lite’s custom LED headlights will be available as an upgrade, the company says.

“The LT Series from International was designed with drivers in mind,” says Craig Watrous, director of product engineering for Truck-Lite. “We’re proud that our mirror and lighting systems align with Navistar’s vision for safety and visibility.”

According to Mark Johnson, vice president of marketing for International Truck, the new LT Series “is our most driver-centric truck we’ve ever delivered to the market and we’re excited to partner with suppliers like Truck-Lite who help us build the kind of truck that drivers want to drive.”

Both the standard halogen and optional LED lighting systems will be manufactured at Truck-Lite’s corporate facility in Falconer, N.Y., the company says.
