Decisiv, Inc., has been named to the Supply & Demand Chain Executive 100 Top Supply Chain Transformations list.
The SDCE 100 recognizes successful and innovative transformation projects that deliver bottom-line value to small, medium and large enterprises across the range of supply chain functions.
“Decisiv helps transform the service supply chain of manufacturers, dealers, service providers and customers by enabling real-time collaboration, communication and in-context access to information to reduce downtime and lower total cost of ownership,” says Michael Riemer, vice president, Product and Channel Marketing at Decisiv. “Being recognized by Supply & Demand Chain Executive highlights the critical role of the service supply chain and the valuable impact that our software platform has as a business enabler for our customers.”
The Decisiv award was based on its work with Oakley Transport, a liquid bulk food grade transportation services provider with terminals and facilities in several states and a fleet of more than 500 tractors and 700 trailers, the company says.
The results of adopting the Decisiv SRM platform reported by Oakley include more than $150,000 in savings by eliminating outside systems, reducing paper forms and improving documentation and communications, ensuring warranty claims are recovered, reducing personnel costs and eliminating estimate-invoice mismatches. The carrier also realized improvements in asset utilization, a drop in its driver turnover rate and reductions in management time, the company says.
The Decisiv SRM platform optimizes service value chain efficiency, reduces costs and maximizes asset availability by enabling in-context access to key information (including connected asset data), real-time communication and collaboration, and business intelligence tools to enhance decision making and ensure service event consistency, the company says.
The recognition of Decisiv was announced in the June 2017 issue of Supply & Demand Chain Executive magazine. SDCE covers the entire global supply chain in a solutions-based format for more than 53,000 C-level executives in corporate procurement, purchasing, logistics and operations management.
