Though the business world won’t quite kick back into normal gear until next Tuesday, Successful Dealer wants everyone to know we will release our five most popular new equipment releases of 2017 in our New Year’s Day newsletter on Monday.
These top releases — based solely on your engagement with our website — represent some of the biggest news in the trucking industry this year from several of the industry’s busiest OEMs.
Though we don’t want to spoil Monday’s reveal, we can give you a few fun hints about what you and your contemporaries were drawn to this year:
- New Class 8 trucks will never not be news. This one is obvious. Our 2017 top five is not solely Class 8 product updates, but they are expectedly prominent in the list.
- Electric trucks are an attention getter. This is something you likely know from your own interests. As more OEMs and startups throw their hats in the alternative power space, reader interest follows.
- The medium-duty space is well represented. As more and more dealers add medium-duty OEMs to complement their heavy-duty offering, reader interest about that equipment continues to grow.
