Hyliion offers its hybrid trucks for free trials

Hyliion has announced a fleet of its hybrid electric tractor 6x4HE is available for potential customers to test in their own operations for up to a week at no charge. The Class 8 electrification company released the 6x4HE, which is designed to deliver up to 30 percent fuel savings, last October.

“We are excited to offer our customers the chance to test a Hyliion-enabled vehicle in their own day-to-day business operations,” says Thomas Healy, Hyliion CEO and founder. Trucks are available starting March 12.

“It is a big decision to adopt a new technology and the opportunity to take the truck for a trial run makes all the difference.” Healy says. “Our team is thrilled to offer this unique trial program.”
