TEC Equipment donates to children’s hospital

TEC EquipmentGiving back to the community is a key commitment of TEC Equipment. The TEC team in Oakland demonstrated this recently by making a donation of $12,500 to the UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital Oakland, according to an announcement. TEC’s contribution to the hospital will further its mission to protect and advance the well-being of children in Alameda County.

TEC Oakland General Manager Patty McNeil notes that the employees voted unanimously to donate to this worthy cause. “On behalf of the entire team at TEC Equipment in Oakland, it is an honor to be able to contribute to such an important and worthwhile organization, dedicated to meeting the medical needs of the young people in our community,” she says. And in that spirit, TEC also contributed 200 Mack bulldog plush toys as gifts for the children.

TEC Founder, President and CEO David Thompson believes in giving back to the community, especially in the areas of education, health and human services. “I consider it a privilege and an important social responsibility to share our success with those in need. I am proud of our Oakland Team for identifying this special opportunity to show our support for the Children’s Hospital Oakland,” he says.

This contribution will help the UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital Oakland provide access to medical care for lower income children from birth to age 19.
