Paccar names 2017 Quality Award winners

Paccar has announced its list of suppliers who met or exceeded Paccar’s “10 PPM” quality standard during 2017.

Paccar defines its 10 PPM as the equivalent of 10 defective parts for every million components shipped to Paccar. These awarded suppliers must also meet demanding criteria for delivery performance, customer support, and business impact. This year, Paccar recognized 268 suppliers in 26 countries on five continents for achieving this high level of quality performance.

“Suppliers who achieve this level of quality are the best of the best in our supplier base, and help Paccar create value for our customers,” says Debra Poppas, Paccar vice president of global quality. “We appreciate these suppliers’ commitment to quality and their support of Paccar’s engineering, manufacturing and aftermarket processes.”

“Paccar works closely with suppliers to develop and produce the highest quality trucks in the industry. We congratulate our 2017 10 PPM award winners for their achievement and for their effort and commitment to meet this quality level,” says Darrin Siver, Paccar senior vice president.
