UTA updates board of directors

The Used Truck Association (UTA) Thursday announced changes to its board of directors.

Amanda Kent has resigned from the board to focus more on her job at Masterack as senior director of distribution. Kent has served on the UTA board of directors since 2014. This year, she served as secretary and was co-chair of the Convention Committee.

“Amanda was always a passionate supporter and a tireless advocate for the Used Truck Association,” says UTA Officer Craig Kendall. “We always knew where Amanda stood on any issue. Amanda will be missed.”

Michael Cox, general sales manager at SelecTrucks of America, was the UTA board alternate. Cox will finish Kent’s term, through 2020. In addition to serving as board alternate, Cox co-chaired the Elections Committee this year. “Michael is smart, organized and level-headed,” Kendall says.

Terry Williams, strategic relationship manager at Dominion Enterprises, was the second board alternate. Williams will be the first UTA board alternate for 2018 to fill Cox’s role. Kendall notes Williams is experienced, well known, and brings “a special passion to the UTA Board.”
