Baltimore Truck Center – Hagerstown division hosted the 2018 Mack Anthem Live roadshow last week with a barbecue lunch, ride and drive, antique truck show and informative DOT seminars at its location in Hagerstown, Md.
Despite some intermittent rain, Baltimore Truck Center says the open house was a rousing success. More than 200 customers attended the July 24 event to see the new Anthem and the rest of the Mack model lineup. Mack Trucks brought along its traveling roadshow, which included a pop-out trailer with hardware displays as well as interactive displays inside. Along with the trailer were a handful of new Mack Anthem tractors, both daycabs and sleepers, that were available for customer ride-and-drives, and we kept those demo tractors busy all day.
Aside from the tractors that Mack brought, the dealership says it also had a number of trucks on display, including a new Mack Granite cement mixer with mDrive transmission, a new Mack Granite dump truck with mDrive transmission, several tractor models, as well as other new Mack Granite’s with various body upfits.
Additionally, Baltimore Truck Center – Hagerstown says it featured several of our customers’ trucks with various body configurations, including a new Mack LR refuse truck with automated side-loader body. Engineers from Mack also were on hand to meet with customers and discuss custom options, the company says.
More than $1,000 was offered in raffle giveaways, including some winnings that were donated by vendors. Vendors on hand included Road Choice, Exxon/Mobil, Horton Fan Clutch, STEMCO, Shurco Tarps, Webb Wheel, Hendrickson and Michelin.
