Michigan dealer raises $9,000 for local charities

West Michigan International and K&R Truck Sales recently held their annual charity campaign and raised $9,000 for three local charities.  Each charity will receive $3,000.

During the months of June and July, the dealerships announced 10 percent of sales on designated parts were donated to Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital, Starlite Shores Family Camp and Catholic Charities of West Michigan. In addition, three suppliers, Delco, Fleetrite and Jost, had a share in the contribution.

“We look forward to our charity events every year and are grateful to be able to give back to our local charities.  We try to pick different charities each year that we can support and it’s great to see our employees get involved in helping to select a charity. This is important to us,” says Ed Rietman, dealer principal at West Michigan International and K&R Truck Sales. “We are thankful to our customers, employees and supplier partners that are supportive during our annual charity campaigns.”

Every year, West Michigan International and K&R Truck Sales run a charity campaign to raise money for local charities. Last year the company donated more than $5,000 to a pair of local charities.
