NationaLease has announced the nine regional winners of the 2019 NationaLease Tech Challenge exam and the three winners who were selected as top finalists following the hands-on skills competition hosted by Universal Technical Institute in Lisle, Ill.
These three top finalists will represent NationaLease at TMC’s Annual SuperTech Competition at the organization’s fall meeting, Sept. 15-19, at the Raleigh Convention Center, Raleigh, N.C.
2019 Top Tech: Rick Davis, Hogan Truck Leasing, a NationaLease Member
1st Runner Up: Brian Peters, Salem NationaLease
2nd Runner Up: Sam Hawkins, Schow’s NationaLease
Top Tech Rick Davis received prizes valued at more than $4,000. Prizes for the 1st and 2nd place runners up were valued at $1,200 and $1,000.

The NationaLease Tech Challenge, now in its ninth year, recognizes member company technicians with the opportunity to compete in a three-step process that tests their maintenance knowledge and skills in order to qualify for the title of NationaLease Top Tech. This year a record 276 technicians participated in the challenge.
