Karmak recently partnered with Interstate Truck Center, a multi-location dealership in California, to host a user group meeting for companies running Fusion.
Fusion, Karmak’s flagship Windows-based business management system, is currently being used by more than 190 companies at 1,400 locations. The user group meeting was held at the ITC facility in Stockton, Calif. Activities included a tour of Fusion use in the dealership, in-depth Fusion training, and updates from Karmak development, consulting, and support managers, Karmak says.
Mark Wells, parts manager for Interstate Truck Center, also provided other Fusion users with hands on examples of leveraging Fusion in their dealership.
“The recent event was a success thanks to the preparation by Karmak and the participation of all the attendees, especially other Karmak customers. The interaction with other Karmak customers provided insight on how leveraging best practices can help other Fusion users,” says Wells.
“These user group meetings are designed to provide a simple, organic forum for our Fusion customers to share their specific operational issues and discuss them with other users as well as with our Karmak team of experts,” says Steve Reading, West Coast account director for Karmak. “Partnering with ITC and demonstrating to other customers how they are using Fusion in their operation allows the attendees to see firsthand the best business practices built into the fabric of the system. Our community of Fusion customers continues to grow and events like this truly help our customers share ideas and processes that will achieve better business results for all.”
