“Truck drivers from Quebec to B.C. stopped to enjoy a free meal today,” says Darin Bouchard, general manager, Maxim Truck & Trailer’s Brandon location. “The trucking industry is an essential service, delivering the food, medical supplies, and countless other equipment thats Canadian businesses and people need. This is the least we can do and we hope to get the message out so we can feed more truck drivers tomorrow and Thursday.”
The Maxim team are giving truck drivers a free prepackaged 12-in. sub, cookie, and drink. Maxim says it also is prepared to hand out 3,000 free meals over the course of the three-day period. Portable bathrooms have also been set up for the convenience of truck drivers.
Maxim Truck & Trailer has 18 branch offices and over 600 employees in 11 cities from Vancouver to Montreal.
