The Used Truck Association (UTA) has joined the list of industry events that will be held virtually in 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The association announced Wednesday its convention committee has decided to turn the 2020 UTA Convention, initially scheduled for Nov. 4-7, into a virtual event.

UTA says any sponsor who paid its 2020 convention sponsorship can receive a refund or apply their sponsorship to next year’s convention and any member who has registered for the 2020 UTA Convention can also receive a refund. The association will contact all sponsors and members who have paid their 2020 UTA Convention sponsorship or registered to discuss how to handle refunds or if they want to apply their sponsorship to next year’s convention.

UTA’s board of directors and convention committee is working to develop a virtual event itinerary. More information will be available in the weeks and months to come, UTA says.
