Truck Country adds Western Star at two locations

Truck Country Wausau WisconsinTruck Country announced this week its Wausau and Minocqua, Wis., locations are now officially Western Star Trucks dealerships. The change is effective immediately.

In addition to continuing to serve as authorized dealerships for new Freightliner trucks, Truck Country’s Wausau and Minocqua locations now have the opportunity to market Western Star’s great lineup of new over-the-road and vocational trucks to its Central Wisconsin customers.

“We are thrilled to have the opportunity to add the Western Star brand to our Wausau and Minocqua dealerships,” says Truck Country President Doug McCoy. “We believe Central Wisconsin is the perfect market for Western Stars’ brand of tough, yet reliable trucks.”

The company says now is especially an ideal time for Truck Country to expand its relationship with the Western Star brand. In late September, Western Star introduced its next-generation truck, the all-new 49X, which the manufacturer promises will revolutionize the vocational market.

With the addition of the Wausau and Minocqua branches, the locations join 14 other Western Star dealerships operated by Truck Country and its affiliated company, Stoops Freightliner-Quality Trailer, in Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Ohio and Wisconsin.
