Portable Telescoping Light Tower

Larson portable lightsLarson Electronics has announced the release of the WAL-TP-2XGLM-1227 portable telescoping light tower with dual remote controlled spotlights, designed for high power and easy deployment and operation.

Featuring an adjustable tripod and dual magnetic mount remote control spotlights, Larson Electronics says this portable light tower is ideal for events and work sites where high output and easy deployment is desired.

The WAL-TP-2XGLM-1227 from Larson Electronics is designed to provide a portable yet powerful lighting solution that can be remotely controlled and quickly transported and deployed.

This portable tower features a collapsible tripod that can be extended from 3 ft. to 10 ft. in height and two magnetically mounted remote control spotlights. Each spotlight produces a 6.5 million candle power rating while using only 65 watts and features 370° rotation and 140° tilt while producing a focused spot beam with limited spread, the company says. Both light heads will move simultaneously, requiring only one remote for operation. Each light produces a beam that is 850’ ft. in length and 125’ ft. in width, the company says.

“The WAL-TP-2XGLM-1227 combines the portability of a tripod mounted light with the remote control functionality of our most popular and powerful spotlights,” says Rob Bresnahan with Larson Electronics. “While this light tower produces less light coverage than the large metal halide lights, they can be placed next to the work area, event or operators, so that the overall effective illumination will be greater.”

Larson Electronics says power is provided by an included inline transformer that allows operation with standard 120 to 277 volts AC current. The transformer also can be disconnected so that the lamps can be connected to a 12 volts DC power source for full portability and operation from vehicles, equipment or portable power sources, the company says.
