Northern Tool + Equipment has launched an exclusive line of lifts and jacks under its Strongway brand.
Strongway offers a wide selection of affordable, safe products built to perform everything from day-to-day garage service to larger industrial tasks. The new products include bottle and service jacks, jack stands, shop presses, engine stands and hydraulic rams, the company says.
“All Strongway products are built using top quality components and are tested to meet the needs of any user,” says John Bakke, vice president of merchandising at Northern Tool + Equipment. “Those components coupled with the large selection of ASME certified products allow customers to safely complete nearly any lifting task.”
According to the company, the Strongway quick lift jacks feature a fast-rising design that brings up loads five times faster than traditional jacks. All quick lift jacks include a built-in safety overload system to prevent use beyond its rated capacity, handle padding to protect vehicles from damage and caster wheels for stability and easy positioning.
Among the quick lift jacks is the Hydraulic Aluminum Quick Lift Service Jack that features a durable, yet lightweight aluminum construction, the company says. Available in 2.5-ton or 3-ton lift capacities, the jack also includes dual pistons that take only seven strokes to reach maximum lift. The built-in side-carrying handle offers easy transportation and the low profile stance makes this jack ideal for use under lower vehicles.
The innovative, dual-purpose Strongway Hydraulic Dual-Height Hybrid Service Jack can be used as a low-profile 2-ton model or a powerful 3.5-ton jack. It features an extra large, removable saddle that can be rotated 360 degrees for versatility. This product offers user-friendly features including a padded handle, tool tray, an adjustable pull pin and swivel casters, Northern Tool + Equipment says.
Strongway also offers lifts for raising, lowering and transporting engines, transmissions and other heavy loads. The Hydraulic Engine Hoist with Load Leveler can handle up to a 4,000-lb. lift capacity and features a four-hole position reinforced boom, enabling four different load capacities. Its foldable design and engine leveler provides customers with just another layer of convenience.
