Webb Brake Adjusters has published a product release notification from Hendrickson for its self-setting automatic brake adjusters for use on Fontaine Trailers. With this release notification, Webb’s S-ASA adjusters will now come standard on all Fontaine platform and heavy-duty trailers equipped with Hendrickson axles and suspensions, the companies say.
“This release from Hendrickson is another step in our penetration of the heavy duty trucking industry. We are very pleased with the results of the testing and look forward to increasing sales from both the OE and aftermarket segments,” says Bryan Long, director of sales for Webb Brake Adjusters.
Webb Brake Adjusters offers automatic slack adjusters in 5.5 in. to 7 in. arm lengths in 10-, 28- and 37-spline models.
Webb uses the proven clearance sensing design for its standard automatic slack adjusters and a patent protected design for its self-setting adjusters. Webb says these products are sold worldwide for OEM first fit and in the aftermarket.
Specific brake adjuster models are available for line haul tractor and trailer, severe duty, transit and motor coach applications, the company says.
