Joe Mejaly has been appointed vice president and general manager of AxleTech International, a General Dynamics company.

Mejaly will lead the company’s global management team in executing customer-focused strategies to develop and deliver high-quality products that exceed customers’ expectations. Special focus will be placed on attaining operational excellence in the company’s seven facilities around the world, the company says.
Mejaly comes to AxleTech from Meritor, where he most recently served as president of the company’s aftermarket and trailer group.
AxleTech develops and manufactures axles, brakes and suspension systems for off-highway and specialty vehicles, the company says.
