John Minor has been elected president at Midwest Wheel Companies, the fifth in the company’s 104-year history. The move is effective Jan. 1, 2015.
Minor joined Midwest Wheel in 1972. He was named general manager of the company’s Des Moines location in 1980 and was later promoted to executive vice president and COO.
Minor is a 2013 recipient of the CVSN’s President’s Award, and has helped Midwest Wheel win two (2004, 2012) Truck Parts & Service Distributor of the Year awards.
Midwest Wheel says Mike Callison will remain CEO. Both Minor and Callison are members of the company’s board of directors.
