Paccar Parts has continued its global expansion with two new parts distribution centers (PDCs) in Brisbane, Australia, and Panama City, Panama. Paccar says these facilities will increase parts availability, maximize uptime, and provide superior service to Paccar customers in the respective markets.

The new PDC in Brisbane expands the Australia distribution network to two locations. Along with the Bayswater PDC, located 22 miles east of Melbourne, Paccar says the addition of the Brisbane PDC will support increased dealer service levels across Australia.
“The strategic location of the Brisbane PDC supports 25 percent of parts sales in Australia and equips us to increase our next-day deliveries,” says Chris Scheel, general manager of Paccar Parts Australia, “We will increase customer uptime by adding a greater breadth of product and increasing our availability to service customers within 24 hours.
Additionally Paccar says the new Panama City PDC will elevate service levels across the Latin America markets.
“We are setting new standards for product availability in the entire Latin America dealer network. The Panama City location will support Paccarbrands, such as DAF, Kenworth and all-makes TRP,” says Laura Bloch, assistant general manager – operations. “And by leveraging our closer proximity to the customer, we will increase productivity and customer uptime.”
The new locations in Brisbane and Panama City are a part of Paccar Parts’ growing global parts distribution network, which now includes 18 PDCs worldwide.
