The new location features a 9,500 sq.-ft. service department and nine service stalls. Also included is a parts department that is approximately 4,500 sq.-ft. and a 2,000 sq.-ft. space dedicated to retail display. The facility will feature an equipment division to further assist the Southeast region of B.C., which is dependent on forestry, mining and tourism, the company says.
Inland Kenworth – Castlegar is on 9.2 acres, along Highway 3, a major truck route connecting Alberta and Vancouver, B.C., and near the intersection of Highway 22, which runs south to the United States border. Inland Kenworth – Castlegar is located at 2205 14 Ave Castlegar, B.C. Hours of operation are 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Sunday.
With nearby Inland locations in Cranbrook, Penticton, Kelowna and Vernon, Inland Kenworth says the new Castlegar location will provide central support for both local and other Kenworth customers passing through the area.
