Planning underway for SOLD ’16 event

The American Council of Frame and Alignment Specialists (ACOFAS) will again this year organize and present “Service Opportunities Learning Days,” or SOLD16, prior to the official opening of Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week 2016.

Now in its fourth year as an industry event, the SOLD program will be held Jan. 24-25, 2015 at the Mirage in Las Vegas. SOLD organizers say this unique program is specifically designed for independent service shop owners and management, as well as distributor companies that are considering entering the truck service business.

SOLD consists of a professional educational program that features a mix of management and technical training focused on increasing the value and competiveness of the independent service provider, ACOFAS says.

An established Advisory Council is in place to assure a top quality and relevant service related program for this important and growing element of the commercial vehicle industry. The SOLD Advisory Council consists of members of ACOFAS, ADS, HDRG, CVSN, HDA Truck Pride, HDMA, Power Heavy Duty, SSA, VIPAR Heavy Duty and all premier industry associations..

More information on SOLD 2016 will be announced in the coming months.
