Amphenol introduced a reverse bayonet coupling connector that is easy to install in the field, the company says.
The GTC-E Series uses a UL94-VO hard plastic insert and removable contact, as well as quick positive coupling, crimp termination, an operating range up to 500 mating cycles. RADSOK socket contacts are also available.
The connector also features high shock and vibration capabilities, making it suitable for high power connections, Amphenol says.
