Queclink announced a new 4G smart dash camera Monday.
The CV200 is a all-in-one telematics device featuring GNSS positioning, real-time recording and smart video analysis. The fixed front camera and detachable interior camera can capture both the road ahead and the interior view of the vehicle.
It is capable of continuous loop recording and can switch to event-based recording when unusual movements are detected or when the panic button is pressed. Those videos can be requested for download or playback by the user at any time. The camera also supports live streaming and can automatically upload clips to the server without delay. A Wi-Fi function allows users to upload videos where Wi-Fi is available.
When connected to a DMS camera, the AI can assess a driver's state of awareness and send an alert if it identified signs of distractions or drowsiness. An immediate warning allows the driver or manager to manually intervene to avert a potential incident. The AI can also coach drivers as patterns of driving behavior are collected and analyzed over time. Fleet managers can also use the reported data to evaluate drivers' performance and make objective, data-driven hiring and firing decisions.
Queclink says the CV200 is designed to improve vehicles, drivers, cargo management and data monitoring.
