Webb introduced three new formulations of UltraGrip air disc brake pads on Wednesday. Each is designed with performance characteristics matched to the application for superior wear properties, stopping power and rotor friendliness, the company says.
The three available formulations are UltraGrip Plus, Premium and Severe Duty. Each pad option comes boxed as an axle set with appropriate OEM-grade hardware. The pads are color-coded to help identify them and make sure the correct sets are pulled for service.
Webb says the UltraGrip pads have a patented pad retention system that was extensively dyno and fleet tested and validated for quality and performance standards. UltraGrip pads are Level N Copper-Free Certified, ECE R90 Compliant and meet or exceed FMVSS-121 criteria.
