Eaton to introduce new power take-off products, valves at Work Truck Show

Eaton has introduced the Bezares 500 series power takeoff unit

Eaton said Wednesday it will introduce new power takeoff units and directional hydraulic control valves at Work Truck Week March 5-8 in Indianapolis.

The new units are the Bezares 3960, 2500 and 500 series. The new valves are APSCO APV and APG series. APSCO is an Eaton distribution partner and a leading manufacturer of pneumatic and hydraulic products for the mobile equipment and transportation industries. Bezares is a global manufacturer of PTOs, hydraulic pumps, fittings, tanks, valves and other related mobile power hydraulic components.

"These new PTOs and hydraulic control valves provide our customers with even more power solutions for the latest automated and automatic transmissions, all from the same trusted source," says Brad Gulick, commercial product manager for Eaton Mobility Group. "Our expertise in managing power and the extensive PTO knowledge of our partner Bezares USA allows us to deliver new products and solutions that make it easier for our customers to do their work."

The Bezares 3960 PTO fits the unique design of the Ford Super Duty TorqShift 10-speed automatic transmission. It features a low-profile housing that minimizes vehicle interference and allows for quicker, easier installation, Eaton says. A DIN 5462 output shaft and special output adapters provide versatility and allow for mounting high-pressure pumps directly to the PTO.

The Bezares 2500 PTO was developed to meet the demand for low-speed PTOs compatible with Eaton Cummins' Endurant HD, Endurant XD and Endurant XD Pro transmissions, Eaton says. It is optimized for product pumping applications, including thinner liquids such as fuels, solvents and petrochemicals, and thicker liquids such as residual fuels and resins.

The Bezares 500 series PTO is a hot-shift, eight-bolt, two-gear PTO that fits the Paccar TX-8 and ZF 8AP automatic transmissions. It has pneumatic shifting and a low profile for a better fit, Eaton says. It can be ordered with a variety of output types, including ISO four-bolt and SAE B 2/4. It can be configured to mount on either side of the transmission.

APSCO's APV and APG valves are sectional, directional control valves that are interchangeable with the Parker/Commercial VA and VG series and the Parker/Gresen hydraulic valve product lines. The valves can be used in parallel or open center circuit applications with manual, cable shift or pneumatic operation. They can be purchased as individual components or designed into a custom-engineered and tested valve assembly.
