Hendrickson Truck Commercial Vehicle Systems on Friday announced a new ROADMAAX Z rear air suspension.
ROADMAAX Z is the first drive axle with its Zero Maintenance Damping (ZMD) ride technology. The system provides a consistent ride over the life of the air spring, Henderickson says. IThe ZMD technology eliminates conventional shock absorbers and integrates the damping function into the air springs.

"Innovative solutions like ROADMAAX Z with Hendrickson's exclusive patented ZMD technology deliver not only the critical weight savings, but also provide excellent ride and handling for both on- and off-highway applications."
ROADMAAX Z offers a full range of suspension scalability with rated capacities of 23,000 pounds, 46,000 pounds and 69,000 pounds.
