IPD released a water pump for the Cummins X15/ISX15, the company said Thursday.
The part number for the pump is 5406048 and comes with a seal kit, including gasket and O-rings. IPD says its engineering team used 3-D scanning and a coordinate measurement machine technologies to create the pumps.
The pumps are precision machined with cast iron housings and impellers, corrosion-resistant stainless steel shafts and bronze thrust washers, and a ceramic spring-loaded seal assembly and Teflon lip-type hydrodynamic oil seals.
The company also announced repair and rebuild kits for its pumps. Each kit comes in packaging that keeps it free from dings, damage and dirt with each part labeled. It comes with an impeller, shaft, seal assembly, non-threaded plug, steel retainer, tapered rolling bearing, filter and screw.
