Grote Industries announced on Monday a new line of warning lights specially designed to illuminate high-visibility material.

The WorkShield lamps, powered by high-intensity non-visible intelligent illumination (HINVII) technology, use minimally visible, low-wavelength light to make high-visibility material, such as what is used on safety vests and other products, pop without distracting personnel or traffic. Grote says the new lights can be used on refuse trucks, utility trucks, tow trucks, emergency response vehicles and more.

"The HINVII technology built into our quality lamps brings a new layer of safety to work sites, further building on our commitment to make the world a safer place," says Matt Forner, director of aftermarket sales.

The WorkShield line features two flat-mount options. The first uses six LED diodes producing low-wavelength HINVII light. The second supplements the base model with four amber light diodes for added versatility. Both versions are available now.
