Pro-Cut introduced a brake lathe with a standard adapter package.
The X1 HD On-Truck Brake Lathe comes standard with a three-adapter package that includes a one-ton dual wheel adapter, a medium-duty rear adaptor and a heavy-duty adapter. This makes the lathe work on most Class 5-8 vehicles.
Powered by a 48-volt DC variable speed motor, the X1 has the power to turn bus and truck axles with a low-range gear box. Adjustable tool arms and an extended feed screw allow techs to match-machine the largest rotors in the industry, Pro-Cut says.
