"The Pro-Cut X1 HD Brake Lathe is expertly designed for all types of trucks and buses, and service providers will realize instant value when they start using it," says Jeff Hastings, president of Pro-Cut. "An example is the Freightliner Class 8 tractor trailer where removing and resurfacing one disc can be a six-hour operation. With the new X1 brake lathe, service providers can resurface that same disc in 30 minutes or less. That significant time savings increases profitability and reduces vehicle downtime from days to hours."

The Pro-Cut X1 is powered by a 48-volt DC variable speed motor with the power to turn bus and truck axles. Its low-range gear box provides torque while adjustable tool arms and 190-mm feed screw allows techs to match-machine the largest rotors in the industry.
