Konik Heavy Duty Products introduced a new quick-install mud flap bracket.
"Our goal was to make the fix easy," says Thom Davis, product line manager at Konik. The bracket installs quickly without welding, drilling or special tools. "This bracket is rugged, galvanized and engineered for real-world service. Technicians can install it in minutes using standard hand tools and get equipment back on the road quickly."

The bracket mounts directly I-beam crossmembers using a formed, clamp-style design, Konik says. Spring tabs and a simple bolt-clamp system apply constant pressure to the lower flange, which eliminates permanent modifications and reduces installation time.
Konik's bracket is formed from grade-50 steel and hot dip galvanized and has a backer plate that distributes load across the mud flap, helping reduce tearing and extend replacement intervals. A spring-tab clamping system maintains consistent tension over time even under vibration and thermal cycling.
