Eaton debuted two new drivetrain lubricants, Eaton EverTough transmission fluid and Eaton XFE 75W-80 axle lubricant.
"As fleets extend vehicle life and focus more closely on operating value, the aftermarket needs solutions that balance performance, durability and cost," says Corneliu Bogdan, director of aftermarket sales, Eaton Mobility Group. "These new Eaton fluids strengthen our ability to support customers whether they're running new equipment or keeping older vehicles on the road longer."

The new transmission fluid is designed for customers who don't require OE-grade specifications but still need reliable performance. It is suitable for manual transmissions across multiple makes and models. Drain intervals range from 300,000-500,000 miles.
Eaton expects this fluid to do well with independent service shops, rebuilders, aftermarket distributors and fleets operating mixed-age vehicles. Markets with older truck populations are also expected to be key adopters.
Eaton XFE 75W-80 axle lubricant is engineered to help fleets improve fuel efficiency while maintaining durability, the company says. Mesilla Valley Transportation Solutions conducted a study that showed a 2% improvement in fuel economy compared to standard axle lubricants.
The lubricant is an OE-approved formula that can be used while vehicles are under warranty. It's intended for both linehaul and vocational applications.
"These launches underscore Eaton's commitment to innovation, efficiency and customer choice," Bogdan says. "No matter where a vehicle is in its lifecycle, Eaton provides a lubrication solution designed to meet that need."
