Innovative Products of America (IPA) introduces Fuse Chaser (#8061), a patent-pending fuse cleaning and pulling multi-tool that combines fuse removal and terminal cleaning in one compact solution.
Corroded fuse terminals often cause intermittent electrical problems. Moisture, oxidation and vibration degrade contact integrity inside fuse slots, leading to voltage drops and erratic operation. IPA says Fuse Chaser’s ability to quickly restore fuse contact integrity helps reduce voltage drops and electrical failures, making it an essential tool for technicians aiming to improve diagnostic efficiency.

IPA states the Fuse Chaser is designed to restore fuse contact integrity and reduce intermittent electrical failures like voltage drop, poor contact and repeat electrical issues. Its pincer-style fuse puller easily removes fuses with hardened-steel tips, while a rear diamond file pad provides additional terminal reconditioning.
The three swing-out, diamond-coated cleaning arms quickly and precisely clean fuse blades and contacts and are compatible with common automotive fuse styles (ATO/ATC, Mini ATC, Micro, and Micro-2), ensuring technicians can rely on it for a wide range of applications, making troubleshooting more efficient, the company adds.
