Freightliner Custom Chassis Corp. (FCCC) introduced a new transmission from Allison. It's a nine-speed transmission designed to maximize fuel savings and ride smoothness for Freightliner's S2RV chassis.

"The new nine-speed transmission from Allison is an absolute game changer for S2RV and our OEM partners," says Jeremy Buckmeier, RV product manager for FCCC. "It brings a range of exciting new capabilities and features to S2RV while maintaining the power, performance and reliability Allison products are known for."
The transmission is specifically designed for RV products with increased acceleration, fuel economy and output torque. It shares more than 70% parts commonality with its 2000 Series six-speed transmission.
