IngersollIngersoll Rand has introduced extended anvil variations of its 2145QiMAX ¾ in. Impactool. The company says the 2145QiMAX-3 and 2145QiMAX-6 features 3 in. and 6 in. extended anvils to help technicians tackle applications in hard-to-reach places.

According to the company, the 2145QiMAX has the durability to withstand tough environments and is proven to increase garage productivity. The 2145QiMAX models offer 1350 ft.-lbs. of maximum reverse torque and a forward torque range of 200 to 900 ft.-lbs. The tools are said to be compact, lightweight and feature a patented one-hand forward/reverse button, allowing technicians to be even more proficient on the job.

“The 2145QiMAX-3 and 2145QiMAX-6 Impactools are extensions of the 2145QiMAX with the same great capabilities from a performance standpoint,” says Nate Schmid, marketing manager for vehicle services with Ingersoll Rand. “The extended anvil option provides additional benefits for professional technicians, allowing them to access tight spaces without compromising power.”

The 2145QiMAX line features a seven-vane motor that Ingersoll Rand says is 16 percent more efficient than its predecessor. The tools are said to have easy-to-clean inlet prescreens to capture debris, resulting in less downtime and better tool performance for increased productivity. Every tool in the MAX family is engineered with patented Quiet Tool Technology to reduce noise in the workplace without sacrificing power, the company says.
