Grote Industries expands Mexican facility

Grote Industries is expanding its Apodaca, Mexico, production facility. 

The expansion includes a design and engineering center and will increase manufacturing space by more than 50%. Grote employees more than 600 people in Mexico, where it has operated since 1993. 

"The expansion of Grote Industries de Mexico underscores Grote's ongoing commitment to embrace new opportunities and create the kind of industry-leading products that customers around the globe have come to rely on," says Grote President and CEO Dominic Grote. "The expansion and improvement of our Mexico operation will further our overall goal of operating safe, environmentally friendly facilities dedicated to the pursuit of zero-defect manufacturing." 

Grote makes visibility and safety systems for vehicles and trailers, including lighting, electrical and reflective systems. It is headquartered in Madison, Indiana, and employs more than 1,500 people around the world.
