Karmak once again partnered with Carlinville Area Hospital and Clinics to host the annual “Warm Up Our Kids” Clothing Drive to collect essential items for local schoolchildren in need.

The festive drive-thru event was held at Karmak’s Headquarters in Carlinville, Ill., and brought the community together in the spirit of giving.

Karmak says the event was a resounding success, with dozens of vehicles arriving at the Karmak parking lot to drop off bags filled with coats, hats, gloves, and other winter essentials. Donations were collected in a custom-built sleigh, originally constructed with materials donated by community members and local businesses. It served as both a heartwarming centerpiece for the event and a symbol of community collaboration.

“We are continually inspired by the generosity of our community,” says Vicki Walker, community engagement specialist, Carlinville Area Hospital & Clinics. “This event ensures that children in our area are equipped with the essentials they need to thrive during the winter months, and we are proud to partner with Karmak in this meaningful endeavor.”

Attendees were welcomed by Santa and Mrs. Claus, along with other holiday favorites like Olaf, The Grinch, Buddy The Elf, and a caroler who spread holiday cheer, making the day a memorable one for both donors and volunteers.

“I want to extend my deepest gratitude to everyone who played a part in making our Warm Up Our Kids event such an incredible success. From the dedicated team members who worked tirelessly to organize every detail, to the generous donors whose contributions made it all possible—thank you. This event is a testament to the heart of our organization and our commitment to giving back. We should all take pride in being part of something so impactful,” says Jim Allen, Karmak president and CEO.

Donations were delivered to Carlinville, Litchfield, and Benld-Gillespie schools by the team, along with monetary donations to each school. Karmak and Carlinville Area Hospital are proud to continue their partnership and look forward to hosting the “Warm Up Our Kids” Clothing Drive as an annual tradition for years to come, the company states.
