The following safety recalls were issued Monday by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA):

  • Forest River is recalling certain 2024-2025 Viking and Clipper travel trailers. The fresh water holding tank support bracket may be the incorrect gauge and may break. A broken bracket can cause the tank to detach, increases the risk of a crash. NHTSA says 357 units are potentially affected by the recall.
  • Brinkley RV is recalling certain 2024-2025 Model Z Fifth Wheel trailers equipped with Curt Helux Pin Boxes. The pin box fasteners may have been improperly tightened. The fasteners can loosen and fall out, allowing the tow vehicle to detach from the pin box and increasing the risk of a crash. NHTSA says 466 units are potentially affected by the recall.
  • Winnebago Industries is recalling certain 2024-2025 Ekko travel trailers. The wheel bolts may not have been installed, allowing the spare tire to detach. A detached tire can become a road hazard, increasing the risk of a crash. NHTSA says 632 units are potentially affected by the recall.
