The following safety recalls were issued Monday by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA):

  • Forest River is recalling certain 2024-2025 Rockport work trucks. The incorrect fasteners may have been used to install the optional E-Track Cargo Tie Down system. The fasteners can fail, causing the system to detach from the wall and increasing the risk of injury. NHTSA says 156 units are potentially affected by the recall.
  • General Motors is recalling certain 2022 GMC Sierra 1500 vehicles equipped with chrome front grille deflectors. The attachments that hold the front grille deflectors in place may fracture, resulting in grille detachment. A detached front grille deflector may become a road hazard, increasing the risk of a crash. NHTSA says 70,768 units are potentially affected by the recall.
  • Gillig is recalling certain 2019-2024 Low Floor transit buses. The rivet-nut fasteners that secure the TFT flat panel display monitor to the bus ceiling may fail, causing the monitor to detach and fall. A monitor that detaches and falls from the ceiling increases the risk of injury. NHTSA says 91 units are potentially affected by the recall.
  • Jayco is recalling certain 2021-2025 Entegra Coach Launch, 2022 Launch LE, 2021-2025 Jayco Terrain, and 2022 Terrain LE recreational vehicles. The grey water tank support brackets may contact and damage the fuel tank, causing a leak. A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source increases the risk of a fire. NHTSA says 1,106 units are potentially affected by the recall.
  • Winnebago Industries is recalling certain 2025 Minnie Winnie, Navion, Porto, Spirit, View, and Vita recreational vehicles. The LP tank mounting bracket fasteners may have been improperly tightened, causing the tank to detach. A detached tank can become a road hazard, increasing the risk of a crash. NHTSA says 696 units are potentially affected by the recall.
