The following safety recalls were issued Monday by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA):
- Ford Motor Company is recalling certain 2025 Lincoln Navigator, F-150, Expedition, Bronco, and Ranger vehicles. The Electronic Brake Booster (EBB) module may malfunction while driving or when the driver is utilizing an Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) feature, resulting in a loss of power brake assist. An unexpected loss of power brake assist while driving can extend stopping distance and increase the risk of a crash. Additionally, a loss of power brake assist while ADAS features are engaged can result in the vehicle not braking as expected, increasing the risk of a crash. NHTSA says 312,120 units are potentially affected by the recall.
- Ford Motor Company is recalling certain 2025 F-150 hybrid vehicles equipped with a 3.5L hybrid electric powertrain. When the driver or passenger's seat belt is not buckled and the vehicle is started, the audible warning chime may not activate as intended. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 208, "Occupant Crash Protection." An audible warning chime that fails to alert occupants of an unbelted seat belt can increase the risk of injury during a crash. NHTSA says 56,473 units are potentially affected by the recall.
- Forest River is recalling certain 2025-2026 Sunseeker, Solera, Forester, Freelander, Leprechaun, and East to West Entrada motorhomes. The fuel line extension connectors may have inconsistent crimps, allowing the fuel line to detach. A detached fuel line can leak, increasing the risk of a fire. NHTSA says 534 units are potentially affected by the recall.
- Mack Trucks is recalling certain 2026 Mack GR trucks. The brake drum and steer axle combination are incompatible, which may cause a loss of brake function. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of FMVSS number 121, "Air Brake Systems." Reduced brake function can extend the distance required to stop, increasing the risk of a crash. NHTSA says 36 units are potentially affected by the recall.
- Nova Bus is recalling certain 2020-2023 LFS transit buses. The electric power steering system may be missing a check valve, allowing hydraulic pressure to turn the steering wheel without the driver's input. A steering wheel that turns unintentionally increases the risk of a crash or injury. NHTSA says 33 units are potentially affected by the recall.
- Tiffin Motorhomes is recalling certain 2024 Convoy, 2023-2026 GH1, 2025 GT1, and 2026 GH2 motorhomes equipped with 2.0 liter engine. The secondary alternator controller programming was not properly updated. Improper programming can cause the engine to stall, increasing the risk of a crash. NHTSA says 418 units are potentially affected by the recall.
