The following safety recalls were issued Monday by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).
- Autocar is recalling certain 2023-2026 ACX (Xpeditor) and DC (Legend) vehicles. The steering wheel nut may be improperly secured, allowing the steering wheel to separate from the steering column. A steering wheel separation may result in a loss of steering control, increasing the risk of a crash. NHTSA says 4,687 units are potentially affected by the recall.
- Chrysler is recalling certain 2024-2025 Ram ProMaster battery electric vehicles. The electric drive module software may not effectively manage torque, which can result in a loss of drive power. A loss of drive power increases the risk of a crash. NHTSA says 21 units are potentially affected by the recall.
- Forest River is recalling certain 2025-2026 Entourage recreational vehicles. A bolt may contact the truss support and fail, allowing the rebound clip to detach from the leaf spring. A clip detachment may cause the leaf sprig to fan out, reducing stability and increasing the risk of a crash. NHTSA says 21 units are potentially affected by the recall.
- Mack Trucks is recalling certain 2020-2025 Mack MD, 2019-2025 Anthem, Granite, 2024 MD Electric, and 2025 Pinnacle trucks equipped with a passenger bench seat. The seat belt anchorage bracket may be improperly welded. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 210, "Seat Belt Assembly Anchorages." An improperly welded seat belt anchorage bracket can detach during a crash, increasing the risk of injury. NHTSA says 15,841 units are potentially affected by the recall.
- REV Recreation Group (REV) is recalling certain 2024-2026 Holiday Rambler Invicta, and Fleetwood Fortis recreational vehicles, equipped with the theater seat option. The theater seat fasteners may have damaged the Liquid Propane (LP) hoses, causing a propane leak. A propane gas leak increases the risk of a fire. NHTSA says 39 units are potentially affected by the recall and a 'Fire Risk Warning' has been issued.
