Mack Trucks announces updated MyMack app

Mack Trucks delivery vehicle with mobile app interface screens showing vehicle tracking and fleet management features

Mack Trucks announced improvements to the MyMack app on Monday. It now allows easier access to the Digital Driver Guide with the truck's Vehicle Identification Number programmed in.

"With the MyMack app, we're putting more of the information and functionality drivers need right at their fingertips," says Brandon Page, Mack senior product manager for vehicle electrical and electronics. "Integrating the Digital Driver Guide into the app makes it even easier for drivers to access information specific to their truck, while features such as remote vehicle monitoring and climate control help make their day more convenient and productive."

The MyMack app is available for the Mack Pioneer, Mack Anthem, Mack Granite and Mack Keystone models.

Along with the driver guide, Mack drivers can remotely check the status of vehicle lights and monitor fuel, diesel exhaust fluid and oil. When the truck is equipped with the new Mack Integrated Parking Cooler, it also allows drivers to set the temperature for their cab environment before starting the workday.

MyMack is part of the Integrated Uptime bundle that combines real-time vehicle tracking, performance analytics and driver support features into a single, integrated solution that maximizes fleet efficiency and uptime. The app and Mack Connect portal come with a five-year introductory offer bundled with Mack Integrated Uptime.

Mack Connect also offers safety monitoring that gives fleet managers detailed information about roll stability interventions, hard braking events and seatbelt usage. That supports practical driver coaching by using real examples and focusing on specific areas for improvement.
