KEA Advisors and CDK Global will hold two training sessions later this month for dealers on how to better utilize CDK's Reports and Fastlane to improve service department operations.
The courses are set for 9 a.m. CT and 1 p.m. CT on Feb. 24. Each is one-hour in length.
Organizers say the instructor-led class will show attendees how to use real-time service data available in Reports and Fastlane. Attendees will learn how to customize Fastlane and canned reports to focus on truck-specific metrics; review open repair orders without having to confirm with Service; View real-time status updates of repair orders; set up automated reporting; and enhance communication in a service department.
The course is targeted to suit a dealership's needs and will provide plenty of opportunities for questions, organizers say. More information regarding registration will be available in the coming days.
