CDK Heavy Truck recently held its third annual CDK Truck Connect conference for commercial vehicle dealers from April 8-10, in Nashville.

CDK introduced its Truck Connect event in 2023 as a way to bring its dealer customers together with CDK's team and other key vendors partners and drive business forward. This year's event had more than 100 dealers in attendance, and featured four main sessions and 20 breakout sessions.

Attendees represented a wide selection of dealership roles, from owners and dealer principals to general managers, controllers and CFOs, parts, service and operations professionals and more.

This year's event also was held in conjunction with CDK Accounting Connect, and all dealers attending the truck event were provided access to the account event and its three main general sessions and 20 breakout sessions.

CDK states highlights of the week included:

  • Accounting sessions were highly popular and well attended; some sessions were fully booked with standing overflow (opportunity to earn up to 11 hours of CPE Credits).
  • Data & Intelligence sessions, particularly AI-driven reporting sessions.
  • SimplePay, CDK's first fully embedded payment solution for dealers to process financial transactions.
  • Hands-on learning labs for Sales and F&I.
  • OEM breakout sessions from International, Mack Volvo and Paccar
