Noregon announced the release of a major update for JPRO on Monday.
“We take pride in keeping our products as user-friendly as possible for our customers and this release is no exception,” says Jason Hedman, Noregon product manager. “We’ve tightened integration with our TaaS service to make it easier for those customers to quickly get world-class support while making it more intuitive to access Fault Guidance by adding access directly from the fault grid on JPRO’s main screen.”
TaaS is short for Technician as a Service, which is an optional add-on to JPRO that gives customers remote support from master technicians. Fault Guidance is an embedded troubleshooting feature that features troubleshooting steps, wiring diagrams, and more.
Additionally, Noregon says users will benefit from a substantial list of new bi-directional tests, both for on- and off-highway assets. These bi-directional commands include cylinder cutouts, forced DPF regens, aftertreatment injector tests, and much more. Off-highway additions include major manufacturers such as Kubota and Komatsu, while more on-highway tests were added for Paccar, Detroit Diesel, and others.
“Many of our customers either own or service a mixed fleet of on and off-highway vehicles and equipment,” says Hedman. “We’re focused on ensuring these customers can use JPRO to service their entire fleet without the need for additional tools or subscriptions.”
Noregon says active JPRO subscribers can upgrade at no additional cost by following prompts in the software or visiting the Noregon Website. Prospective customers are encouraged to visit them online or contact Noregon’s US-based product specialists at 855-889-5776, the company adds.
