The claims period is now open in the Navistar MaxxForce class action lawsuit in Canada

Eligible settlement class members include all people in Canada, excluding Quebec, who on or before Feb. 24, 2022, purchased or leased for more than 30 days one or more vehicles covered in the lawsuit. Those vehicles are 2011-2014 Navistar trucks equipped with a MaxxForce 11-, 13- or 15-liter engine using EGR technology, including the Paystar, Workstar, Transtar, 9900i, Lonestar and Prostar brands.

There are three options for each eligible class vehicle. A cash option provides a payment of up to $2,500 per vehicle based on the months of ownership or lease. A rebate option provides a rebate of up to $10,000 towards the purchase of a new Navistar Class 8 heavy-duty truck, based on months of ownership or lease. Lastly, a class member can choose to be reimbursed for up to $15,000 of proven covered costs per class vehicle.

Class members must make claims for compensation no later than Aug. 19. Submit your claims online here.
