Leading chassis manufacturers will gather Oct. 13–14, 2026, at Kalahari Resorts & Conventions (Sandusky, Ohio) to share the latest chassis and technical updates at NTEA’s Commercial Vehicle Upfitting Summit.
Ten medium- and heavy-duty commercial vehicle OEMs are already committed to the event, which NTEA Managing Director Kevin Koester says “is an important forum for upfitters to directly engage with chassis OEM engineers and learn about new product offerings and vehicle specifications. Attendees also have the opportunity to participate in industry education sessions to further expand their knowledge.”
He adds, “The Summit brings together experienced industry professionals to foster collaboration and innovation and make lasting connections.”
NTEA states the annual event provides the commercial vehicle community the chance to preview product updates and speak with experts on critical upfitting issues. Industry professionals can learn about important changes to powertrains, electrical systems, chassis structures and other vehicle systems. Upfitters can gain practical support by speaking directly with chassis OEM engineers and product specialists, the association adds.
In addition to discovering the latest vehicle modifications, NTEA adds attendees also can network with other commercial vehicle professionals, attend industry education sessions and check out industry resource displays.
Industry education sessions will include:
- Ask the Experts: Q&A with NTEA Technical Services
- Commercial Vehicle Industry Outlook
- Hydraulic Fundamentals & Applications
- Weight Analysis Fundamentals & Digital Tools for Smarter Upfitting
- When Change Can’t Wait for the Next Chassis Model Year
