In a market environment that the company says continues to be characterized by uncertainty, Traton Group reported Friday a 4% year-over-year increase in global unit sales in the second quarter.
At 82,900 sales, Traton also substantially surpassed the 68,600 units moved in the first quarter, and brings the company’s total unit sales for the first half of 2026 to 151,500 vehicles, only 1% below the prior-year level.
Volkswagen Truck & Bus was the company’s strongest division in Q2, with sales up 15% thanks to a government supported incentive program in Brazil.
