Who’s in the news: Our weekly trucking employment report

The following employment changes were announced to the trucking industry the week of Nov. 8, 2021:

  • GPS Insight announced the addition of Geoffrey Garrett to its executive team as chief revenue officer. 
  • Meritor Inc. announced William "Bill" Newlin, currently lead independent director of the board, has been elected non-executive chairman, effective Dec. 31, 2021. This follows the decision by Jay Craig, currently executive chairman of the board, to step down after more than 15 years of service to Meritor, including six years as CEO.
  • Noregon has added Jon Morrison as strategic advisor. Morrison was previously president at WABCO, Americas.
  • Pressure Systems International (P.S.I.) has hired Kyle Check as sales director, OEM and Southwest region.
